This method, known as \"mizukote\" forming, is suitable for creating circular items such as rice bowls, teacups, cups, and plates and requires the skilled craftsmanship of artisans.  \nAfter shaping, the piece is dried and then trimmed to refine its shape. For porcelain, the final trimming is an essential step to define the shape, requiring the advanced skills of experienced artisans.  \nThe shaped piece is then bisque-fired at 920°C over two days. The custom glaze, developed using proprietary techniques handed down at the Yazaemon Kiln, is applied individually by artisans using a brush. The piece is then reduction-fired at 1300°C over three days to complete the process.  \nThis white porcelain is reminiscent of Japan's powder snow, showcasing the beauty of unglazed white porcelain.
