This is a work by Noboru Yamada, a traditional craftsman. The skills of Noboru Yamada, a Kyoto kimono gold leaf artisan, have been captured in this glass vessel. As each piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike.

Nanairo Kirihaku Nanamedori "七彩切箔斜取" describes a decorative technique where iridescent gold leaf, cut into specific shapes, is applied to a surface at a diagonal angle. This creates a dynamic and visually interesting effect with the shimmering, multicolored gold leaf pieces arranged in a slanted pattern
