This tea canister from Fujiki Denshiro Shoten is based on their classic Sōkawa Chazutsu Mujikawa (Full Bark Tea Canister – Plain Finish) and features a delicate scene of falling cherry blossom petals, expressed entirely in natural cherry bark. Over time and with regular use, the surface develops a beautiful sheen and gradually matures into a deeper, more subdued tone through the warmth of the hand.

Care Guide
・Please use the product correctly in accordance with its intended purpose and usage.
・Avoid using the product in a refrigerator. Extreme dryness may cause the surface bark to peel or the product to warp.
・Do not soak the product in water or hot water, and do not use it in a dishwasher.
・Do not use it in a microwave or oven.
・To prevent the peeling of the cherry bark, avoid exposing the product to water. Additionally, do not leave it in highly humid places for extended periods of time.
・To prevent warping, cracking, or discoloration, avoid exposing the product to direct sunlight.
・Avoid sudden temperature changes caused by contact with heated or cooled items, as this may lead to discoloration, warping, or cracking.
・Be careful not to drop the product or subject it to strong external impacts, as this may cause damage.
For polished Kabazaiku products, no coating is applied in order to let customers enjoy the natural texture of the material. Therefore, avoid exposure to water as much as possible. If the product does get wet, immediately wipe it dry with a soft, dry cloth.
Align the seams of the body and the lid when closing the product. As both the body and lid are crafted using the same wooden mold, aligning the seams will allow the lid to close smoothly.
Please note that as each piece is handmade, there may be slight individual differences in how the outer and inner lids fit.
The tea caddy maintains an appropriate level of humidity, preserving tea leaves in good condition.
