This is an original canister by Fujiki Denshiro Shoten, made using "Shimofuri-kawa," which highlights the natural texture of wild cherry bark. You can enjoy the natural features, such as the knots and uneven surfaces of the cherry bark. The canister, crafted into a dynamic truncated cone shape reminiscent of a tree trunk, brings a sense of nature’s vitality to the space it occupies. It can be used for various purposes, including storing coffee beans, green tea, black tea, herbal tea bags, or snacks. Unlike tea caddies, this canister does not have an inner lid, so the lid is made slightly tighter. Creator: Traditional Craftsman / Keitaro Arakawa *Please note that as natural materials are used, each product will have unique knot patterns and color tones. While we strive to present the product as close to the actual item as possible, the colors and textures may appear different due to shooting conditions or the display settings of your computer or smartphone. Thank you for your understanding.

Care Guide

**Care Instructions for Your Kabazaiku Tea Caddy** To ensure the longevity and beauty of your handcrafted Kabazaiku tea caddy, please follow these care guidelines: * **Use as intended:** Please use this tea caddy for its intended purpose of storing tea leaves. * **Avoid extreme temperatures:** Refrain from storing the caddy in the refrigerator or exposing it to direct sunlight. Extreme temperatures can cause warping, cracking, and discoloration. Likewise, avoid sudden temperature changes, such as placing hot or cold objects directly on the surface. * **Keep dry:** Moisture is the enemy of Kabazaiku. Avoid washing with water or placing the caddy in a dishwasher. Should the caddy get wet, wipe it immediately with a soft, dry cloth. Also, avoid storing it in humid environments. * **Handle with care:** This tea caddy is a delicate, handcrafted item. Please handle it with care and avoid dropping it or subjecting it to strong impacts. **Special Note on Unlacquered Kabazaiku:** To allow you to fully appreciate the natural beauty of the birch bark, some Kabazaiku items, particularly those with a polished finish, are left unlacquered. This makes them especially susceptible to moisture damage. Please take extra care to keep these items dry. **Closing Your Tea Caddy:** To close your tea caddy, align the seam of the lid with the body and gently press down. As both the lid and body are crafted from a single piece of wood, they are designed to fit together seamlessly. **Embrace the Uniqueness:** Each Kabazaiku tea caddy is a unique, handcrafted piece of art. Slight variations in the fit of the lid are a natural characteristic of this craftsmanship. **Optimal Tea Storage:** Your Kabazaiku tea caddy is designed to maintain optimal humidity levels, preserving the flavor and aroma of your precious tea leaves.
