This tea canister is a refined interpretation of Fujiki Denshiro Shoten’s signature piece, the Sōkawa Chazutsu – Shimofuri-kawa (Full Bark Tea Canister in Frosted Bark). Delicate scenes of cherry blossoms drifting in the air are artfully expressed using natural cherry bark and luminous raden (mother-of-pearl inlay). With everyday use, the surface gradually matures into a deeper, more subdued tone, enhancing its beauty over time.

Care Guide
・Please use the product correctly in accordance with its intended purpose and use.
・Avoid using it in the refrigerator. Extreme dryness may cause peeling of the surface bark or warping of the product.
・Do not soak in water or hot water, and do not use in a dishwasher.
・Do not use in a microwave or oven.
・To prevent the peeling of the cherry bark, avoid exposing it to water. Also, do not leave it in highly humid places for extended periods.
・To prevent warping, cracking, and discoloration, avoid direct sunlight.
・Avoid sudden temperature changes caused by contact with heated or cooled items, as this may result in discoloration, warping, or cracking.
・Be careful to avoid strong external impacts such as dropping, as they may cause damage.
Among kabazaiku products, those with a polished finish are not coated to allow customers to enjoy the natural texture of the material. For this reason, please avoid moisture as much as possible. If it does come into contact with moisture, promptly wipe it off with a soft, dry cloth.
When closing the lid, align the joint between the body and the lid. Both the body and lid are made using a single wooden mold, so aligning the joint allows for smooth closing.
Since each piece is handmade, there may be slight individual differences in the fit of the outer and inner lids. We kindly ask for your understanding.
