“Kimori-gaki” refers to an old Japanese custom of leaving one or two persimmons on the tree after harvest, as a symbolic gesture wishing for a bountiful yield the following year.
This candle is inspired by the image of a lone persimmon left on a branch as snow begins to fall.
The fruity-musky scent evokes this poignant winter scene:
Top and middle notes center around persimmon and other fruits, offering a gentle, rustic sweetness.
Base notes of musk and cedarwood conjure the stillness of a winter landscape, with trees laid bare.
The container’s soft white-to-dark brown gradient represents the quiet midwinter world, where the last fruits remain as snow blankets the land.
Each candle is carefully handcrafted using 100% natural wax derived from plants.
