This sake vessel was designed by French designer Arthur Leitner and developed in collaboration as a proposal for casual, Western-style sake ceremonies—distinct from traditional Japanese celebrations. It is a piece created with the hope that Japan’s younger generation will also embrace it. Brume, meaning “mist” or “haze” in French, was named for the enchanting image of sake shimmering and swaying through the glass.
