This piece is meticulously colored by master artisans of Tsuiki-dōki—a traditional hammered copperware technique rooted in Tsubame-Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture.

Each item is individually hand-finished using time-honored methods, as the craftsman intuitively senses subtle variations in air temperature, humidity, water temperature, and solution concentration during the process.

The technique is one that can only be mastered through years of experience, resulting in a truly one-of-a-kind copperware—no two pieces are ever the same.
