A confectionery bowl that suits a modern space. It features not only a sophisticated design but also stability and ease of use in its functional shape. The clay is shaped using a technique called "mizukote," where clay is poured into a plaster mold, rotated, and smoothed with water and a spatula. This method is mainly suitable for forming circular items such as rice bowls, tea cups, mugs, and plates, requiring the skilled techniques of artisans. Afterward, the piece is dried and trimmed to refine its shape. In porcelain making, the final shaping is achieved through trimming, making it a crucial process that demands expert craftsmanship. The shaped piece is then bisque-fired at 920°C over two days, and a unique glaze is applied by hand with a brush to each piece. It is then reduction-fired at 1300°C over three days.
