Round Confectionery Bowl 20cm - Pearl Blue

A confectionery bowl that suits modern spaces. It features not only a stylish design but also a stable and easy-to-use shape. The shaping of the clay is done using a technique called "mizukote," where clay is placed into a plaster mold, rotated, and smoothed with water while applying a trowel. This method is mainly suitable for creating circular items such as rice bowls, teacups, cups, and plates, and requires skilled craftsmanship. Afterward, the piece is dried and trimmed to refine its shape. In porcelain, the final trimming is a crucial step to define the shape, requiring advanced expertise. The shaped piece is then bisque-fired at 920°C over two days, after which a unique glaze is applied individually by brush. It is then reduction-fired at 1300°C over three days.
