Round Candy Bowl 20cm - Pearl Green

A confectionery bowl that suits modern spaces. It features not only a sophisticated design but also a stable and user-friendly shape. The clay is molded using a technique called "mizukote," where clay is placed in a plaster mold, rotated, and formed by smoothing it with water and a spatula. This method is mainly suitable for shaping circular items such as rice bowls, teacups, cups, and plates, requiring the skilled techniques of artisans. Afterward, the piece is dried and trimmed to refine its shape. Porcelain achieves its final shape through trimming, making this a crucial step that demands expert craftsmanship. The formed clay is then bisque-fired at 920°C over two days, after which a unique glaze is applied individually with a brush. Finally, it undergoes reduction firing at 1300°C over three days.
