As a result, a refined and sophisticated black has been achieved. Just like the universe, please enjoy this black that serves as a base to complement tableware of various colors. The deep, versatile bowl is not only perfect for salads and soups but also highly practical for serving curries or rice bowls. Its high versatility makes it a piece that can be used in various situations. The matte texture, rarely seen in porcelain, is achieved through meticulous hand-painting by artisans, one piece at a time. The shaping of the material is done using a technique called "Mizukote," where clay is placed into a plaster mold, rotated, and smoothed with water while applying a trowel. This method is primarily suitable for forming circular shapes such as rice bowls, teacups, cups, and plates, requiring the skilled craftsmanship of artisans. Afterward, the dried pieces are trimmed to refine their shape. In porcelain production, the final trimming is critical to defining the shape, making it an essential step that demands expert skill. The shaped material is then bisque-fired at 920°C over two days, after which a unique glaze is applied to each piece by brush. Finally, the pieces undergo reduction firing at 1300°C over three days.
