A beautiful copper sake cup with a hammered pattern. Mr. Susa, who honed his skills at a long-established workshop of hammered copperware before becoming independent, is a full member of the Japan Kogei Association and has created and showcased numerous works. This sake cup is crafted using the techniques of hammered copperware, expressed through his unique sensibilities.
"Splashing Waves" are depicted by hammering patterns and employing a technique called "moritsuku," where tin is raised and left, finished with potassium sulfide to create a stunning contrast of black and white. Hammered copperware becomes a masterpiece that allows you to enjoy its aging process through use. Each piece is slightly varied in expression, making it a one-of-a-kind work. We hope you can enjoy delightful moments with this once-in-a-lifetime copperware.
