Crafted using traditional techniques, this grater begins with a hardened sheet of pure copper—further strengthened through hammering—and coated with pure tin. Each tooth is then hand-cut by a skilled artisan, one by one.
Unlike ceramic or plastic graters, it delivers an exceptionally sharp grating experience. And unlike the uniform, machine-made teeth of aluminum or stainless steel graters, its broader, irregularly spaced blades produce a distinct texture and superior performance.
Dull blades tend to separate fibers and moisture, diminishing flavor and nutritional value. Only a traditional pure copper grater can preserve both, creating a rich, flavorful result.
The grated ingredients naturally flow into the side opening and collect in the base tray—streamlining your workflow. The grating plate can be removed, allowing you to mix or prepare directly in the same container, with no need to transfer. The tray also doubles as a serving bowl.
