"漆磨 SHI-MOA" is a brand that fuses the metalworking technology of Tsubame City in Niigata Prefecture with "Yamanaka Lacquerware," a traditional craft from Kaga City in Ishikawa Prefecture. The items, which combine long-established cultures, exude a traditional yet somewhat modern atmosphere.

The "stainless steel x lacquer" lacquerware was born from the skills and challenges of lacquerware artisans. By applying lacquer, made from the sap of the lacquer tree, to stainless steel, a warmth and depth not found in metal can be felt.

"Kagerou" and "Tsuki-awase," each made with high-quality Tsubame stainless steel and individually hand-crafted by lacquer artisans, are unique and one-of-a-kind items. Enjoy the changing texture as you use them for many years to come.
