The ground series is crafted using recycled clay, along with a “recycled glaze” made from powdered ceramic and unfired pieces that have broken during production. Its slightly classical yet simple form is quietly imbued with a handcrafted character, thanks to the gentle irregularities created by the recycled glaze and the mizugote (water trimming) shaping technique.
