In the first stroke of the character "夜" (night), a bright shining star is depicted, and in the second stroke, a shooting star. Interestingly, though it wasn’t intentional, the "月" (moon) part on the right side of the character "明" (light) ended up resembling a crescent moon. Thin lines are used throughout, and each component of the characters is drawn compactly to evoke the stillness of dawn.
