Small Plate – Crossed Blades / Oxidized Copper

A beautiful copper small plate with a hammered pattern. Mr. Susa, who honed his skills at a long-established workshop of hammered copperware and became independent, is a regular member of the Japan Kogei Association and has created and presented numerous works. The small plate is expressed using the hammered copperware technique combined with his unique sensibility.
 "Crossed Blades" represents intersecting blades depicted through the hammered pattern. By finishing the copper with potassium sulfide, a rich and deep color is achieved. Hammered copperware becomes a masterpiece that allows you to enjoy the aging process as it is used over time. Each piece is slightly varied in expression to make it a one-of-a-kind work.
