Kaleidoscope Shot Glass - Ishidatami

This is a kaleidoscope shot glass from the "Kutani Wa Glass" series, created by fusing Kutani porcelain and handmade blown glass. The bottom of the glass is cut and polished, and when a drink is poured, the refraction and reflection of light cause the Kutani porcelain's painting and colors to spread inside the glass like a kaleidoscope.
It incorporates the "Ishidatami" (stone pavement) design, one of the representative patterns of Ko-Kutani, vividly depicted in five colors: blue, yellow, red, purple, and ultramarine. Even after more than 100 years, it remains highly popular.
